On Kindness & 'Random' Encounters

I never cease to be amazed at the kindness of the world when we open our hearts and minds to receive. Receiving is different than going out to look for something with expectations. Rather it is setting an intention that you are willing to be open to your surroundings and receive what the Universe has to offer. It is being willing to offer yourself in return.

In Between Spaces

This space in between. The place of death and rising. We die a little each day with harsh words, careless misunderstandings, and boredom… And we rise like blooming flowers and soaring rainbows when we know that we are loved from deep within and that the world is our playground. Mostly we stand in the in between and beg it to go away, to hurry and be resolved.

Passing on Our Patra

My calendar year started with the theme of enough when my husband and I were gifted a vessel as part of artist Lynda Lowe's Patra Passage. We recently said “good-bye” to our Patra (#50) with fondness for its new recipient, Hillary Augustine, and gratitude for the time we held it in our home.
