On Bees, Rest, "Blue" and Being Whooped
It’s a challenge to step back into my blog, because so much has transpired since I last wrote. I need time to absorb. Rest. Cry. Sleep. Celebrate all that is and was and shall be. Care to join me?

Some days you just need to take your soul for a stroll.
Earlier today (while reading the “On the Same Page” post for this week, Shining Through), I was overcome with a wave of emotion by this line: I want to be shined through.
The words felt tender and true. I want to be shined through. I don’t want to do the shining.
It’s a lot of work to stay all polished and glimmery. Spit here. Rub there.
I want to be shined through. To Be. Not Do.
"If you're really listening, if you're awake to the poignant beauty of the world, your heart breaks regularly. In fact, your heart is made to break; its purpose is to burst open again and again so that it can hold evermore wonders." Andrew Harvey

Right now, I’m wondering how yesterday (a day of mindless nothingness) could be a gift to anyone (myself included). I spent the day basically doing nothing—a practice I often recommend for others.
Truth is we can all be “lucky” if we learn to listen to the still small voice that is unique to each one of us. Today's question is how you or I can go about listening to ourselves and setting up a framework for possibility.
