live it to give it is all about love and connection. Being authentic. Living our lives and sharing it with others. Life is messy and so is this blog. Somedays my organized coach self shows up. Other days it's my vulnerable author. There's a mom that lives inside me alongside a wife, friend, social justice activist, creative muse, ponderer extraordinaire, and multitude of others. I'll introduce you to people who inspire me and offer a peek into my world that very likely intersects with your world. In other words, I will share life in its full, glorious mess with you. I'm honored you're here and I hope you'll come back soon!!  Cheers! Kayce

Pondering the Spaces In-Between...

Here I sit now in this in-between space between pilgrimage and home… Can I be here now and not there? ‘There’ has followed me home. Doesn't that make it ‘here now’? So sweet. So curious… this dancing between worlds within space and time.

The Art of Possibility - Rule Number 6

Hidden beneath the buffoonery and bluster of the "calculating self" lies the incredible diamond of our soul which Rosamund and Benjamin Zander refer to as the "central self" — a term used to embrace the remarkably generative, prolific, and creature nature of ourselves and the world. While the "calculating self" is frantically looking out for numero uno, the "central self" always appraises the truth of the whole situation without guile or agenda. It's the softer, brighter, lighter self.

Journey of the Heart

It's hard to believe yesterday morning I awoke in Vienna and today I am tucked safely inside my Seattle home. True, the world cannot be discovered by a journey of miles, but... I never cease to be amazed at the wonders that unfold when I choose to open my heart and let a foreign land enter my soul.
