Donating, protesting, making art, living a life of integrity, and speaking up on behalf of love and equality. I believe silence is essential for healing AND silence is detrimental to change when words that need to be spoken are drowned out by fear or complacency. I believe the duality of our existence deserves to be acknowledged and held.
Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 1:00 PM Like life (or social justice reform), art is messy. It's a process, not always clean or clear in its meaning or pathway. Often misunderstood or disappointing if looked at from the perspective of imperfection or what's not there or the dismissive 'I don't get it.'
