Blaze Your Own Brilliant Path TODAY!

Anyone who knows me knows that I adore synchronicity and surprise. This past weekend I had the privilege and joy of spending time with 60 phenomenal, creative, brilliant, and fun entrepreneurial women. It’s Your Turn is not an event. It’s a movement.

The brain child of six women – Blaze Lazarony, Joie Gharrity, Paula Allen, Adria Williams, Teri Hockett and Sherill Calhoun – It’s Your Turn is about women supporting women. The question is: Who do you serve and how may I help? Amazing, right?

What if women supported each other instead of competing? What if we learned not only how to give, but also how to receive without judgment or criticism? I promise I have lots more to say about this, but for now I’m scooting back to synchronicity.

Participants at It’s Your Turn brought along a gift for each person in the group. Creative talent, book designer, and mandala wizard Michelle Radomski said she was going to randomly pick a piece of swag from her bag and honor that person for the day. I decided to borrow her suggestion.

This morning when I reached for my bag, an item literally flew out and shined, “Pick me! Pick me!” No surprise here… it was a gift from the one and only, Blaze Lazarony of Blaze a Brilliant Path and today is her birthday! Woohoo!! Blaze shared with us that receiving isn’t an easy thing for her. She’s spent a lifetime giving. Today, she is learning to receive and it is in a big way connected to the energy and blessings of It’s Your Turn.

Today, I honor Blaze and the other women who know that It’s OUR Turn. I light this candle for all of us!!
