ponder this...

"Perhaps the most important
thing we can undertake toward
the reduction of fear is to make
it easier for people to accept
themselves, to like themselves."

Yes, I like this. A kind of extension of the theory that it's far easier to change yourself than to change other people - change your attitude toward other people by (oh heavens I need a different word than the overused current buzz-word affirm, but...) affirming them.

And I love the name Bonaro W. Overstreet, it has a real quirkiness to it.

Comments from Tess and Kel challenge me to find a way to do something positive with this. It reminds me that Lucy is a therapist and a counselor. I think it must take wisdom and courage to take on people's scary feelings/dreams/thoughts and help them understand them.

Thanks Tess. It is a great name huh?

Kigen - I did not make the mask. It hangs on a fence down the street. This one jumped out recently.

Hi kigen. So interesting you pick up on the counselor angle (which is, of course, valid). I think it takes as much courage and wisdom to listen to ourselves. :)
