"While we have the gift of life,

it seems to me the only tragedy

is to allow part of us to die --

whether it is our spirit,

our creativity or

our glorious uniqueness."

~ Gilda Radner

"A healer is not someone that you go to for healing.

A healer is someone that triggers within you

your own ability to heal yourself."

~ unknown

Welcome to live it to give it! ~ website of healer, author, creative muse, lifestyle coach, speaker, group facilitator, spiritual director and all around promoter of living life fully, Kayce Stevens Hughlett. Helping people enhance their "glorious uniqueness" and shine their lights brighter is my passion in the world. Whether it's through conversation, a blog post, book, workshop, or chance encounter, my hope is that others will feel a pinch shinier, slightly less alone, and more fully connected to themselves after hanging out with me.

Live it to Give it is about living a whole-life experience. When we are compassionate, kindness returns to us. As we step into our deepest fears, joy ultimately rings out on the other side. Love begets love. The natural response to living a love-centered life is a growing desire to give generously in the world. When we know self-love, we offer it more easily to others. When we embrace freedom, we seek equality for everyone. When we speak from a place of truth, we learn to give and receive honestly. Live it to Give it is about fostering a world where love, freedom, and truth are lived, offered, and received in abundance.

When I hear the words live it to give it, I see the multiple faces, stories, people, and lessons that have helped shape my life’s journey. I offer abundant gratitude to my teachers along the way—professors, friends, family, clients, and mentors, including Martha Beck who is attributed with coining the phrase in the early 2000's for her life coach training programs.

My friends and clients range from breaking-into-the-world young adults to rock star septuagenarians. Women. Men. Entrepreneurs. Artists. Chaplains. Coaches. Parents & more. What we all have in common is a zest for life, a thirst for deeper connection, and the willingness to step out of other-made boxes and define our own unique giftedness. Please take your time, peruse these pages, and notice what sparks your attention. Feel free to contact me via e-mail, or phone, 206-851-0010, if you have any questions, would like to schedule a workshop, writing gig, speaking engagement, or simply want to say "hi!" I'd love to hear from you!!

“Kayce has the kind of energy and spunk that makes you want to fly and create something stunning - while skipping along eating your ice cream cone. Yes, she's that amazing.”

~ Kanesha Baynard, life coach & creator of Bold Living Today

"Deep nourishment doesn’t happen by simply reading a self-help book or taking a sabbatical once every five years. Care needs to be infused within us, until it becomes as natural as breathing. Just as breath nourishes and keeps life flowing, self-care allows us to deeply nurture our personal mind, body and spirit."

~ Kayce S. Hughlett
