Glory of Friendship

The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, nor the kindly smile, nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone else believes in him and is willing to trust him. --Ralph Waldo Emerson

I did not know that MJ was named after her GM? Is that our precious photographer front and center?

I love the friendship quote by RWE. You bring a touch of special to my days with your researched thoughts and your own.

Oh, my . . . I'm just back in town after four days without technology.

Your 'mother's day' post made me cry, right here in my kitchen. What more can we ask for than those startling moments of gratitude? If we must define our own days, hours, minutes, seconds--rather than having to conform to the 'official' days then, let's go, girls! It isn't the day that matters, anyway. It's the moment; and the realization.

And this photo--not taken by the MJH I know, given the date--but so poignant. This weekend, let's show someone that we believe in him/her. Let's show it.

Thanks
