My Gift of Gratitude to YOU!! "A Ponderer's Dozen"
One of my favorite texts that I incorporate into my meditation/prayer practice is Deepak Chopra's, The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success: A Practical Guide to the Fulfillment of Your Dreams. Two things I always want to share when I mention this book: #1 - I really dislike the title, because (IMHO) it commercializes these beautiful and ancient, cross-cultural practices, and #2 - I read this book "by mistake" i.e. I was supposed to be reading a book by a similar title. This one stuck, the other didn't.
"Make a decision to give wherever you go, to whomever you see."
Today, I share from the second spiritual practice - Giving.
Ten years ago this month, I penned the first lines that would ultimately become part of my blog-turned-book, As I Lay Pondering: daily invitations to live a transformed life. Today, it's my pleasure and delight to share with you an upscaled excerpt of these daily readings, complete with exquisite photography from the talented Bill Hughlett + added behind-the-scenes "fun facts."
While I had originally considered offering this "freebie" to those who subscribe to my monthly newsletter, I didn't want to limit this gift. Of course, I would still love for you to be an up-to-date subscriber on all my offerings and events, so if you don't already subscribe please consider clicking the "Receive Our Monthly Newsletter" link in the right column.

Here's what others are saying about the ebook:

"What a masterpiece you and Bill have created." Susan M.
"Congratulations on completing your amazing project. Your light and energy has always shone brightly. Your radiance expands even further with this sharing!" Paulette
"Congratulations on this achievement! Bill's photos make your writing all the more special." Sam M.
With gratitude and love to you for stopping by and reading!! May you receive a pocketfull of blessings in every moment!

Hi Kayce. Since you mention "As I Lay Pondering," there's a saying in Zen I've wanted to share with you for some time in response to your chapter, "Be Like Water" — TTC style, yes, I understand. But in Zen, there's another way of saying it, that we should "Go as a river." It makes me laugh, when I think of it. It sounds like a costume party. I am extremely shy socially, there have been times when I've entered a room full of people and simply left, not able to handle it in any way at all. I say to myself, well, just go as a river, but I can't quite imagine how to do that.
Sarah - I love that translation, "Go as a river…" it's quite lovely, and like you, I can't quite imagine how one might do that :-) Thank you for sharing!!
