Ten Gifts of Inspiration (in no particular order)
In my latest newsletter, I shared a few gifts that inspire me. They are a window into what I'm savoring this summer—the things I selectively let into my life that bring joy and peace. My hope is there might be something on the list that will do the same for you.

2) Sarah Selecky's free writing prompts - Whether you are an aspiring writer or simply want to 'get your creative on' thesedaily prompts are innovative and just plain fun! She also has a summer reading list where I discovered...
3) "Tiny Beautiful Things: Advice on Love and Life from Dear Sugar" by Cheryl Strayed. If you read one book this summer, choose this one! I read it while also listening to the author narrate via Whispernet. This book spoke to my heart, brought me to tears, and had me guffawing in the car!
4) Duolingo - a Free app for your smartphone or computer to practice thelanguage of your choice. I'm polishing up ma française in preparation for #5...

6) "The Fresh & Green Table" by Susie Middleton - This cookbook was one of those cheap cheap Amazon specials. I downloaded it on my iPad and have fallen head over heels in love with fresh grilled veggies and this book!
7) Speaking of "specials" Ave Maria Press is offering a one-week special on Christine Valters Paintner's e-book versionof Water, Wind, Earth & Fire: The Christian Practice of Praying with the Elements for $0.99 from Sunday, July 14 to Saturday, July 20. And...

9) Want to keep track of your fitness level while moving around the office or house, taking beach walks, or strolling from pool to cabana? I'm using my new Fitbit to count my steps. A gift for yourself perhaps?
10) Last, but certainly not least, is "On the Same Page" where we are reading Brené Brown's life-changing book, "Daring Greatly: How the Courage to Be Vulnerable Transforms the Way We Live, Love, Parent, and Lead"
