Consider this...

"Do you suppose that if a wound goes real deep, the healing of it might hurt as bad as what caused it?"

Yes. Unfortunately. Which really sucks, when you think about it, but I have a feeling that God will turn it all around ... but it still sucks :(

Yes, but worth it - every step of the way. It's part of the Human experience. This is a job for Strong Faith.

Powerful idea...as I live with chronic pain and seek to manage and hopefully reduce it I have wondered along these lines but never quite had the words for it other than living back through the pain...now I some words to hold on to. I pray for "Strong Faith" that the dream speaks of. Thank you!

lots of "yes's" here. i didn't say it in my original message, but i really was intrigued by this movie and it moved me deeply even though the reviews say it is somewhat predictable, i found it to be less so and quite worth the watch. in other words, watch this for a great story of friendship and humanity.

This a.m. I am sending the quote from "The Spitfire Grill" to several of my spiritual formation group members.....several have struggled desperately this year with personal issues and although they "know" they are healing, they are far from feeling no pain! I don't know if I will get to the movie soon or maybe never, but the quote is a keeper! Thank you.
