live it to give it is all about love and connection. Being authentic. Living our lives and sharing it with others. Life is messy and so is this blog. Somedays my organized coach self shows up. Other days it's my vulnerable author. There's a mom that lives inside me alongside a wife, friend, social justice activist, creative muse, ponderer extraordinaire, and multitude of others. I'll introduce you to people who inspire me and offer a peek into my world that very likely intersects with your world. In other words, I will share life in its full, glorious mess with you. I'm honored you're here and I hope you'll come back soon!!  Cheers! Kayce

In Support of Brilliance

Today’s special post is in support of Gratitude, Generosity and Brilliance. Life has a way of weaving its multi-faceted tapestry in the most unexpected and unique ways. People come across our paths, drifting in and out like threads wound across a vast loom. I can’t remember the first time I ran across one of the incomparable Patti Digh’s blog posts, but I remember being touched by her zest for life and the poignant question “what would I be doing today if I only had 37 days to live?”

(AND/OR) How it comes about that the same blow will destroy one person, while another will transform it into inner order. (This post is part of "On the Same Page"...Summer Blog Book Club.)

Work as Flow - chapter 7

This week's discussion of "flow" ("On the Same Page") is led by straight-shooting coach, Amy Steindler. I can't help but love Amy's candor as she lets us know Mihaly Csikzsentmihalyi's writing style isn't exactly her favorite. Nevertheless, she magically teases out the jewels of this chapter which discusses how to find flow in your work. It's brilliant!

Click here to hop on over to Amy's site and check out what she has to say. You won't be sorry... I mean, who couldn't use a little more flow in their workplace?

In the meantime, I'm on vacation this week and look forward to checking back in when I return. "Flow" and I are heading to the beach for one final blast of summer!!
