What would it be like if you lived each day, each breath, as a work of art in progress? Imagine that you are a masterpiece unfolding, every second of every day, a work of art taking form with every breath. -- Thomas Crum
Oh Lucy - I am SO "a work in progress." In my youth I was such a perfectionist, never feeling good enough. Today, thankfully, I am striving to be better but not all wrapped up in the madness of my youth. (Granted, I use a lot of gesso!) Thanks for this quote and lovely masterpiece.
"Me too" said the little red hen as she scurried about trying to pick up the sky (yeah, I just made that up.) The lrh said a bunch of other stuff I can't quite remember....but I definitely want to be a part of your masterpiece, well I already am by fate of (can't tell), anyway, one long run on sentence tonight....I took a "how old are you today/how old you really are/how long will you live" test this a.m. You'll have to visit the old blog in a couple of days to see those results - they were amazing for me. I think I'm supposed to live til age 104! Whew I should be cranky by then:)
SS==you are definitely a part of my masterpiece. it's really scary sometimes. and cool if i get to live to be 104, i'm not quite middle-aged yet :-) can't wait to see the test.

Thank you for this quote. It is something that has been on my mind over the past few days and so it was a very timely quote.
I love the space inherent in the thought of being a work in progress. It means we can breathe slower :)
I think I need to go live in the countryside ...
